Windrose (based in France and Germany) has been distributing outstanding films for TV, VOD, airplane/train companies and educational institutions all over the world since 2010. Its catalogue is composed of entertaining and meaningful films aiming at changing the viewer's life and making our world a better place. Its editorial line is centered on documentaries on arts & culture (including music, dance, cinema, fashion, architecture & design, fine arts, etc.), current affairs, sport, anthropology, science & green, history, wildlife, travel, performing arts, kids programmes including movies and fiction series. It also sells movies for kids and families to cinema distributors worldwide. Windrose is also in charge of the acquistions of the channel Saeed Shinwarai Media (which is on youtube, tik tok & facebook) focusing mainly on Afghanistan's, Pakistan's and Iran's current affairs but also broader topics related to those countries. MENA topics are in general high priority for us. Regarding its acquisitions, it relies on a network of experts specialized in various disciplines, in order to give scientific warranties on the content they offer to their clients. Windrose is an active member of various key associations: ECAD, the European association of int'l audiovisual independent distributors (as its General Secretary), Unifrance, AGDOK, WCSFP & European Science Film Association (ESFA).
