For the last 10 years I have been coaching, including pitching training, new participants attending international TV content markets under Umbrella Stand of Creative Europe Media at Miptv and Mipcom, among others. I have extensive experience buying and selling TV content at the most relevant International TV Markets and Film Festivals for more than 30 years, with a wide range of organisational skills, and professional contacts. My knowledge of the audio-visual sector includes many different points of view through my positions at public institutions and in international companies. In 1995, I founded and managed Ione Communications, SL, a TV international sales agency with a catalogue of more than 3,000 hours; TV rights acquisitions for Spain; later adding the branch of training and consulting specializing in new talents and companies entering international business.

Michel has over 30 years experience in film production, film financing and in managing audiovisual public funds. His work in feature film production for over ten years provided him with a solid foundation before joining Canadian public funding agencies. At first, at the Quebec provincial agency Sodec, Michel managed investment and tax credits for audiovisual products and later at the federal level, including 22 years at Telefilm Canada, where he was National Project Financing Director for all Canadians feature films. He helped Canada join Eurimages and was the Canadian representative at Eurimages from 2017 to 2019. Since 2019, he specializes in executive producing and financial counselling for international coproductions.
